Grandkids & Stuff

Went & saw Landon preform last night, he was Great...got up there & just sang away. I was so proud of him.... Was nice to see all the kids, Jeff & Craig were trying to trick each other & Ree. Boy talk about anury LOL. Tried singing along with one little girl & found out Maddy has good ears, she put her hand over my mouth, with a very serious look on her little face. ;-( Even Gus wont let me sing in the car any more, ooooh wellll. Carter's a cutey, he just kinda did his own thing & ignored the goffing off going on.

Got material for outfits for the Pugs today. We're going to Wash on the 1st of Oct. I'm working in a Ren Faire that weekend. It's gonna be cold so they need coats. Gus is getting a barbarian outfit, fits him. Lily's getting a new Lady's fancy out fit, real nice material she got. I made a pattern tonight & yahoo it even worked so I'll start the coats tomorrow. Then off to New Orleans for Halloween on the 24 th. I'm looking forward to that too. I really love that city.

Wonderful News....Not

Well yesterday Jeff noticed that the water pressure was real low...Guess what, we have a serious leak somewhere. No idea where, means having to dig up the yard till you find the leak. Probly under the cement!!! So for now no running water. SUCKS. Wonder how long this will take?
Off to the DR on Fri. may be they can give me new med. figuring out what causes the migraines would be nice....

Storm

OK so a storm rolled through here tonight...lots of wind, rain, lightning, & thunder. Jeff & Gus love it, Gus barks at it all. Desi & Lily try to hide or ignore it. I'm not overly fond of it either, but sometimes I find it, not fearful, but a mirical. Of course tonight it was all just plain wrong. I thought the storm was mostly over so went outside, wrong, just as I hit the end of the porch...lightning hits my poor pavilion, which now has scorch marks & leans badly. Wonder if this means Jeff will get the permanet pavilion up....Probably not till summer is over. Just hope it holds up till then...LOL

Tubing

We went tubing yesterday. Cynthia, her boys, Gus & I. Had a blast....first time Gus jumped in I didn't have the life vest on tight enough, grabed him quick, before he could drown, got the vest on right & tight & Gus spent the rest of the day floating down the river on my tube or jumping in after the birds that got close to us. He loves it...

Next time I have to get him his own hat....

The river was low so it took us about 5 1/2 hours to go all the way, & no matter how much sun screen I put on I burned bad..Gotta remember the sarongs next time.

Maybe we can get Teri & the boys to go when she feels better....Gus says Kasey too.

Scouts

We went to Craig's Scout award ceramony on Tue. night. Took Kasey home that day too. It was great watching Craig get all his award, & they give the mom pins too. Hain said it's cause the moms help the boys so much in getting the pins & badges.

It's funny cause when the girls where younger I tried to get them to join the Girl Scouts.....No way not a single one wanted to join. Now Teri's boys & Ree-Ree are either in scouts or gonna be when they get older.

Jeff & I love spending time with the kids, all of the Grandkids are just tooo great, & all are very different from each other, Just like our girls were.

3 pugs

We've had Kasey for a little over a week now, Teri & family went to Wash. so we got to Pug sit. 3 Pugs in the same house OH MY. Kasey & Gus are bestest buds now, & Lily will even play with them once in awhile. They are tooo cute together.

Gus on the left. Kasey in the middle, Lily on the right. And yes they do take over the whole couch. We're sure gonna miss her when she has to go home, I don't think Teri will let us keep her.
