What I Get for Saying I was Bored

I actually have to use the darn day runner!!! For almost everything. I am all booked up for the summer, I have an event almost every weekend! Yahoo for me. That will keep me busy & pay good. Not only that but I also have appointments throughout the week for readings, all summer long. So as I was sitting here waiting for faire to start, after the Holidays were over, I opened my big mouth & said that I was bored, cleaning Cynthia's house once a week, only got Mikey Fridays & Saturdays....Just nothin to do....now I can't find time to do anything....Is there no balance???

Cynthia is months behind in the paper work at the office & asked if I could help her catch up. I said Yep, ohhh foolish foolish woman that I am. I had no idea that doing paper work is sooooo boring, & that after a few hours of staring at the paper & computer your eyes will turn to mush LOL, or that my back would ....well you get it LOL. Oh well she's paying me pretty good.

I took Jo & Mikey out to 'English Tea' today. We went out to Carefree to the tea room met up with Chris & Frances & had lunch & tea. Sounds funny but was very elegant....Would love to take Teri & Maddy soon????? I don't think Craig would like it, too Girly LOL.

We start work on the Faire booth this weekend, gotta put it up & decorate it. Should be fun. I'll get to see some of the friends before Faire officially starts this year :-) I still have sewing to get done & have no clue when it will happen (sigh) . Desi needs a new coat & Mikey needs an outfit (double sigh). OK now it's bad word, bad word, bad word I just remembered I have 2 skirts that need embroidery around them. Oh well I'll get most of it done...& what doesn't get done, doesn't really need to I guess LOL.

Moral here is to never never ever say that you are bored out loud if you ever want to have one spare moment ever again.....for a very long time......

New Years Day

Spent the day with Teri & the grandkids...I like spending time with them, makes me reminisce, smile, laugh, all those fun thing being around kids can make ya do. They got to Cynthia's right around 11am 'Hi Nana' hugs all around then straight to the pin ball & fooz ball table. OK I will admit her house is a kids total dream, besides those two she's got a arcade style video game- Ms. pac man & Gallaga the heated swimming pool,dogs, cats, rabbits, guinne pigs, parrots, fish.....I have the hardest time getting pictures of the kids cause their moving too fast going from thing to thing, or I can get a shot but can't get them to look at me cause their playing a game & soooo intent on what they are doing LOL. I finally made them stop & sit by the fireplace so I could get one shot of them today that looked good & you could see everyones face :-}

Teri had a good time I think, I know the boys did, Madi napped, Cynthia loves having them over, & I had a great time. I love spending time with Teri & talking with her, I love watching the boys & spending time with them, & Madi's just a cutie. And & get to do it tomorrow...I think this is a great way to bring in the New Year!!!!
Thanks Teri!!!!
